Team (To) expanded this spring with the addition of two Digital Communications Interns: Elizabeth Jessup and Laura Whaling. They’re shaping and executing the (To) social media strategy, expanding (To) awareness on college campuses, generating (To) friendships at conferences, participating in planning meetings, and making the office a more dynamic place with their ideas and ambitions.
Here’s a little bit more about why Team (To) is glad to have them on board:
Favorite Place: Chapel Hill, NC
Why? Great weather, great people and the best team on earth (Go Heels!)
Elizabeth constantly seeks out places where she can make an impact—it's what has led her to spend her summers as a camp counselor in North Carolina, study Political Communication in Washington, D.C. at George Washington University, and intern at (To). For Elizabeth, (To) presents the opportunity to help others recognize the importance of place for building a well-rounded and fulfilling life. She hopes that by spreading the #WhereMatters message, she can help connect the next generation of leaders, thinkers and doers with communities in which they will thrive.
Favorite Place: Dublin, Ireland
Why? Culture, views and wonderful people!
Laura is a junior at George Washington University studying Journalism and Mass Communication. She enjoys learning about what drives people to make the decisions they do. This led her to (To) where she can learn about what factors make a certain location ideal to work and live. After spending a semester abroad in Dublin, Ireland, and traveling around Europe, she developed a love for travel and finding out what makes each city different.
